This site is dedicated to the memory of Muneharu Sekiya, who loved the ocean, and had a heart as large as all the seas put together.

Muneharu Sekiya was born in Tokyo, Japan on July 18, 1934. He was loyal and generous to his friends and family. Some of his western friends called him Tony. He loved his only daughter Julie and his wife Yasuko more than anything else, and in the end, he spent his last few years dedicating his life taking care of Yasuko who became incapacitated from an unexpected ruptured aneurysm. Soon after he stopped his visits and was hospitalized himself, Yasuko passed away suddenly, and then less then 3 months thereafter, Muneharu followed her and passed away, even though the doctors and Julie did not tell him that his wife had passed. Somehow their souls must have known. They were truly soul mates.
